PUL Update

Not unlike April showers bring May flowers, April clinics bring May Summer League. Okay, so it doesn’t have the same rhyme and flare, but we only have 22 days until Summer League officially starts, so it’s almost as awesome as May flowers.

We’ve still got some great things happening before Summer starts. And in other exciting news, our one-day, fun day tournament Sun Jam is back this year!

Gender Matching Clinics

Want to improve your ultimate skills in specific gender-matching environment?

Will work on throwing, catching, game play and strategy by running skill developing drills. If there is enough players we will scrimmage at the end.

We still have spots available for our Female-matching and Male-matching clinics being held on Tuesday May 2nd, 6:30-8:30 at Fleming turf.

Juniors Programs

Our 2 junior programs start one week today, Monday May 1st at Holy Cross. We have set up a late registration for those who have not yet registered, but still want to have their Junior Players take part.

Kids born 2011-2015 – This fun educational program is offered to players 8-11 (can be turning 8 in the calendar year) aims to offer our youth the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Ultimate Frisbee and play in a recreational league environment. Emphasis is placed on skills, drills and game play. Runs from 6:00-7:30.

Kids born 2006-2010 – Kids will be divided into balanced teams and they will play a different team each week, ending with semi’s and finals for a league winning team. Each team will have at least one play-in adult coach to help provide on-field guidance and direction.

Teams will play 5×5 format to ensure all kids are getting disc touches to improve their individual skills.
