We just received direction from the City of Peterborough that ALL field permits, with the exception of a select few, are cancelled, effective tonight May 26th. Please read the notice below.
As part of the ongoing emergency management response the City of Peterborough is issuing closure notices for several parks, trails, and outdoor sport facilities. Permits are being canceled forall outdoor facilities, diamonds, and fields except for those facilities listed below effective May 26, 2022. Facilities will remain offline until further notice, due to inclement weather and the cleanup that is required at those locations. Facility rentals taking place on the following fields are permitted to continue at this time:
- Bowers Park – Diamonds 1 to 4 (lights are now working)
- Brinton Carpet Ball Diamond
- Bonnerworth North & South Ball Diamond
- Fairbairn/Poplar Park Ball Diamond
- Kinsmen Park Ball Diamond
- Milroy Park – Soccer Fields and Fisher Ball Diamond
- Eastgate – Hogan and Forster Soccer Fields
- Simcoe & Bethune Basketball Courts
- Northland Ball Diamond
- Stacey Green Ball Diamond
- Turner Park
