There’s a fair amount to cover here. The bullet points are:

  • Summer League Update and Playoffs
  • Fall League
  • Junior Fall Programming
  • Indoor Ultimate

Now for the details:

Summer League
Playoffs
We are three-quarters of the way through our Summer League. Playoffs for all three nights start August 15th, 16th and 17th. We will have quarterfinals, semi-finals and then finals. For those who are new to the league, should your team get bumped out of playoff contention, there will still be fun games scheduled for all teams (August 22-24). On finals night we will only have one game and invite all remaining teams to come watch the best two teams in their respective league to come cheer and socialize.

Field Switches
Also of note, we lose our access to Trent Eastbank Fields in August. Trent athletics want use of their fields. Our last games to be played on these fields will be August 8, 9 & 10th. The following week our Tuesday league will start playing at TAS turf (1009 Armour Rd, Peterborough, ON K9H 7H2). Both Wednesday and Thursday nights our new field will be Holy Cross turf (1355 Lansdowne St W, Peterborough, ON K9J 7M3). Please make note of the changes when looking at the weekly schedule.

Fall League – Under the Lights
We are working on finalizing our field permits for our mini fall leagues. Once they are fully secured, registration will be open. We are looking to provide two 5-week fall leagues, one for all adult aged players and another for our Grand Masters aged players. We are hoping to start the second week of September (12-14) Nights of play will either be Tuesday and Wednesday or Wednesday and Thursday. Cost will be $45 for each league. Stay tuned for more details.

Junior Fall Programming
Again, we are waiting on the finalization of field permits, but are looking to run 2 4-week Junior programs this fall, Monday nights, starting September 11th. Cost will be $55.

  • Skills & Scrimmages 6:00-7:00pm – For 8-12 year olds
  • Junior League Night (games only) -7:00 – 8:00pm (potentially also 8:00-9:00 depending on registration numbers) – For 13-17 year olds

Hoping to have registration open next week, fingers crossed.

Indoor League
We don’t have many details about our indoor league to share other than to say it will be happening Wednesday nights starting the end of October, running for 8 weeks. Our Indoor league will be held at the Hastings Field House (97 Elgin St, Hastings). More details to come.
