AGM  Our Annual General Meeting will be held the week of April 18th. Similar to previous, non covid years, it will be held in-person. We will discuss league business, share financials, vote on additional BOD candidates, and have some awesome, and sorely missed, social time!! There will be mandatory attendance/representation for all summer captains. More info to come on specific time/date/location. If you would like to volunteer for the BOD, please contact myself or Jocelyne Stone by April 1, if you haven’t already done so, so you can be included in the vote. |
After the Thaw – Spring League Thank you to those who answered our recent member survey! We are working towards launching a 4 week hat league on turf starting the week of April 20th. Look for more information and registration in the coming couple of weeks. |
Juniors Our Juniors league will run Monday nights, 6:30-8pm, May 1 – June 27. This program is for those born between 2007-2014. Registration is now open. The cost will be $75. If you’d like to volunteer or you’d like more information, please visit the Juniors section of our newly updated website! |
Summer Leagues   We are VERY excited to share that, based on our survey results, we will be running 3 leagues this year! A HUGE Thank You to Dave French who will return to coordinate our Tuesday league, and Tara MacLeod who will return to coordinate our Thursday League. On Wednesdays, we will launch a new, Grand Masters league for women born 1985 or earlier and men born in 1982 or earlier! Cost will be $1500/team 16 weeks of play and will be due at the end of April. Leagues will start the week of May 16th and conclude before Labour day. We know a lot has happened over the past couple years and teams may not be coming back as they were. Our League Coordinators and Operations Coordinator will work with individuals, and part teams to create full teams. If you find yourself without a team, or full team please fill out our Request to Join a Team form or reach out to Dave French, Tara MacLeod or Jocelyne Stone. If you are interested in playing in the Grand Masters League, registration is now open. Yes, registration will be done at an individual level this year, but you can request a whole team to play with. Cost is $100. |
Tournaments Everyone wants to know if we will be running Harvest and Sun Jam this year. I am happy to report that yes, we are aiming to run Sun Jam this year! More details to come. We unfortunately do not have Tournament Director(s) for Harvest, but we are committed to this tournament and will do our best to run it as well. If you, or someone you know, are interested to be the Harvest Tournament Director(s), please contact Jocelyne Stone, or the BOD to let us know asap.
