League Overview

SUMMER

Summer League is co-ed play and runs for 16-weeks,  that begins the beginning of May (as long as the fields cooperate) and runs until the end of August. We run three nights a week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday and Thursday nights are 7-on-7 (4:3, 3:4 men women ratio). Typically registration is done by teams, although individuals looking for a team can register themselves by filling out the form below or by reaching out with the respective League Coordinator. Teams are ranked by a ladder* system to encourage evenly matched fun and competitive games, therefore all skill levels of play are welcome.

Wednesday is the original night of PUL, but has seen some drastic changes the last few years. 2022 was the inaugural year of Grand Masters league (37+F, 40+M). The game may be a bit slower paced, but still competitive and fun.

*With a decrease in teams we were unable to use the ladder system for 2022. We do hope to grow our team numbers back to revert back to this system.

FALL

Under the Lights – is a 6 week co-ed adult mini-league played Wednesday nights, early September to mid October. 4 teams, maximum 60 players. Sign up is done on an individual basis, and captains are recruited from those registered. Teams are created as equally as possible. All levels of skills and competition are welcome.

Sunday afternoons in the fall, people meet at Bonnerworth Park for some informal ultimate. It’s a way for those who love ultimate to get their weekly fix of play time.

WINTER

Winter league is indoor and is split into two 12 week sessions; November-February and February-April. Still a co-ed league, but sign up is done on an individual basis. Captains are recruited from registered players and teams are created through a draft format. With the loss of the Spiplex, this league is currently undergoing some changes. For the 2022 Session, we are looking at the Hastings Field-house Thursday nights. We hope to bring more vibrancy to this league once the indoor dome facility is opened at Hybrid Athletics.

SPRING

After the Thaw – is a 4 week co-ed adult mini-league played Wednesday nights, April-May. It’s a way to get your ultimate legs under you before starting summer league. 4 teams, maximum 60 players. Sign up is done on an individual basis, and captains are recruited from those registered. Teams are created as equally as possible. All levels of skills and competition are welcome.
