Ladies, Gentlemen, Snow lovers, and Ultimate Frisbee players,

We are pleased to announce the first annual Frost Bowl Tournament on Saturday March 3rd at the Trent East Bank Fields for PUL Players of all calibres and conundrums. Bring your brightly coloured toques, finger-less mitts, and game face to this one-day outdoor hat tournament. Whether you’ve played once before or for a decade, come out and hustle those winter blues away.

Similar to Ecodisc, we’ll have four hat teams squaring off for Frost Bowl glory followed by a party sure to blow your leg warmers off. Registration opens up Wednesday Feb. 8 at 8am. The first champion of 2012 was crowned last night as Pumped Up Flicks took the PUL Monday Fall-Winter championship with a hotly contested battle with iBLUEprofin. Final score wrapped at 14-12. Congratulations to all the finalists for putting on a great show, especially as Blue clawed its way back into this game when the Flicks looked to be running away. Congratulations to iBLUEprofin, though, for taking this session's Carbon Flip prize, and thanks to Sherri and Jeremy Moore of Steam Whistle for providing such deliciously exceptional prizes. Great to see the skills contest happening on Mondays as well - a great tradition to establish. Thanks to Spatch for handling that, and thanks to all the other captains -- Aaron, Adrienne and Dave -- for being stellar ambassadors for the game. Go ahead, buy them a beer. Better yet, tequila. Onwards to the next season, PUL - let's get it on. For all you others who didn't manage to get into this next session, Thursday spring league will be starting in early March, so we'll be posting a call out for names on the site soon enough. Stay tuned.

Spring/Winter season begins the first Monday in Feb.

The first game will be an exhibition game, just like the past session. Then we will have 9 regular season games followed by two weeks of playoffs. So 12 weeks in total. 

For the first night, on Feb 6th, lets have Dave's team play Spatch's team for the early game from 8:00 - 9:15, and then Adrienne's team play Aaron's team from 9:15 - 10:30. Your captains will be in contact with you via email, so check your inbox.

We will see how well the teams are matched up that first night and consider if any trades need to be made to even things out.
